Dr. Salar is an Ophthalmologist who runs a full service eye care clinic which provides diagnostics, treatment and a variety of ophthalmology services. She is a seasoned healthcare professional with over a decade of experience in patient care, research, healthcare management, and continued professional development. Dr. Salar is highly skilled in using diagnostic tools like IOL Masters, OCT, HRT, fundus photography, fluorescein angiography, digital pachymetry, and ultrasonography A and B Scans. She has also worked as a clinical research coordinator and has been published on numerous occasions.
During her collegiate career, Dr. Salas earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree as well as a Doctor of Medicine degree in Ophthalmology. She is a member of the All India Ophthalmological Society, Saudi Ophthalmology Society, and the Canadian Ophthalmological Society. Dr. Salas is actively involved with several nonprofit organizations and she has performed volunteer surgeries in India for the underprivileged.
