Dr. Jason Schmit earned a doctorate in optometry from The Illinois College of Optometry

With 13 years of field experience, Dr. Schmit's expertise is in patient care. As the vice president of operations for LCA-Vision, Inc., he is responsible for recruiting and training employees, and assisting in the professional development of optometrists. He attributes his success to his unique approach toward interacting with patients.
In 1997, Dr. Schmit earned a Doctorate in Optometry from The Illinois College of Optometry. He is a member of the Optometric Council on Refractive Technology. He is the recipient of an award for outstanding leadership for the IntraLase National Rollout Program, as well as a Medical Advisory Board Special Recognition. In the future, Dr. Schmit hopes to expand his business.
