He is the manager of the surgical center and an established family foundation for visual problems. In 1976, Dr. Minotty received his MD from the University of Miami. A certified ophthalmologist, he became a certified cataract surgeon through the American Board of Eye Surgeons. He is a member of the Florida Society of Ophthalmology and the American Medical Association, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American College of Surgeons.
