With more than 24 years of professional experience, Dr. Shimizu specializes in drug formulation, product development and drug delivery and is also responsible for conducting research in ophthalmology. He became involved in his profession because of his interest in the field of medicine and attributes his success to his exposure to a broad range of disciplines in the healthcare field. A product of New Mexico State University, Dr. Shimizu received his Ph.D. in Biology in 1981 and his Master's Degree in Biology in 1979 and is affiliated with the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology. He hopes to continue growing professionally in the future.
